Job description
Purpose of Job
The Leasing & Legal Administrator will work within the Legal & Leasing Department, providing support in lease administration, legal documentation, and tenant communications. The role is designed to give practical experience in the legal and operational aspects of property leasing, under the supervision of experienced Leasing Portfolio Managers and Leasing Managers.
Key Performance Areas
Assist in preparing and reviewing required documentation
Support the processing and filing of lease agreements, ensuring all required documents (FICA, deposits, bank guarantees) are complete.
Coordinate legal and lease administration tasks under supervision, including follow-ups with tenants and Property Managers to ensure agreements are signed and processed on time.
Participate in tenant communications where required, responding to general leasing and legal queries.
Assist with administrative duties when required - including scanning and filing documents, updating tenant information, and creating new tenant files.
Support ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Legal & Leasing Department.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
BCom (Law) / LLB / any other undergraduate degree or diploma where law or property law is a significant component of the curriculum.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Willingness to work after hours if required
A valid driver’s licence is advantageous
