Candidates with expertise in this field and specific skills in the teaching of technology as part of Intermediate Phase Education on the Wellington Campus

Please note that the position is based at the Wellington Campus where tuition is in Afrikaans. Candidates must be able to teach in Afrikaans.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A relevant Master’s degree in Technology Education (excluding ICT/IT or Engineering Education)
• A relevant teaching qualification in Technology Education (preferably at primary school level)
• Technology or an equivalent subject as a major subject at undergraduate level
• Two (2) years relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five (5) years’ relevant teaching experience at IP level
• Fluent in Afrikaans

• A relevant doctoral degree

• Fluency in English and Afrikaans (BEd tuition in Wellington is through Afrikaans)
