Job description
Location City of Ekurhuleni Remuneration R 459,648.00 to R 630,552 - Basic salary per annum (plus benefits) Assignment Type Permanent Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Administrative Diploma
- 3 Years' Experience in Similar Environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist Cashiers in the DLTC/VTS section to ensure all task are performed as prescribed by the NRTA, Regulations and By-Laws.
- Compile, verify and finalize monthly financial shortages and surplus reports for auditing.
- Apply effective data management and administrative duties as per set standards
- Adhere to specified standards, policies and SOPs to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risks.
- Monitor attendance and operational readiness of cashiers at opening time in the morning.
- Keep all payments and face value documents safe at all times.
- Spot check processed documents, prior to handing over to the applicant to ensure that procedures are followed.

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
