Life Orientation Teacher

Westerford High School invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for

Grade 8-12 Life Orientation Teacher position from 1 January 2027.

Qualification/skills/abilities the ideal candidate should have:

• The necessary teaching qualifications and SACE registration.
• At least five years experience in teaching of Gr 8-12 Life Orientation.
• Experience as Subject Head of Life Orientation with a clear understanding of curriculum and assessment expectations.
• Experience in marking the NSC will be advantageous.
• An interest in the use of technology and ICT in the classroom.
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to participate in the extra-mural programme of the School (sport and culture/service) - list extra-mural experience and interests on the CV.
