What you'll do* Manage and enhance customer experience and engagement to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

• Lead, develop, and manage LiquorShop staff, ensuring effective team performance and adherence to company policies.
• Oversee LiquorShop profit and loss management, including accurate reporting and financial analysis.
• Plan and implement merchandising strategies, pricing, and promotional activities to drive sales growth.
• Monitor stock availability, quality, rotation, and loss prevention, conducting gap scans and verifications as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and supermarket operational policies and procedures.
• Manage staff scheduling and workforce management edits to maintain operational standards and control labour costs.
• Control expenses effectively to support budget adherence and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high service levels and operational standards across all LiquorShop functions.
• Analyse reports and implement necessary actions to improve performance and promotional outcomes.

What you bring* Grade 12 certificate (Essential)

• Retail Management diploma or equivalent qualification (Desirable)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the liquor retail industry
• Proven experience in store management or supervisory roles
• Valid driver's licence
• Proficient in basic MS Office applications and familiarity with supermarket systems and technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English
• Mathematical competency and analytical skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of store operations management, promotional planning, merchandising, and stock handling principles
• Understanding of liquor products, including various types of beer, wine, brandy, and whisky
• Experience with financial management and reporting, including sales targets, profitability, budget planning, and control
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Liquor Act, Food Safety and Hygiene regulations, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
