Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in any of Logistics, Customer Service, Distribution, Demand and Supply Chain especially in Physical Logistics within FMCG or Manufacturing.

We are now looking for a Load and Capacity Specialist to be based in Longmeadow, Edenvale.
The Load and Capacity Specialist is an associate forming part of both the planning and execution teams responsible for transportation planning and operations. Within the team, the capacity specialist will perform execution-level service-provider relationship management, ad-hoc provider selection, loss recovery, and other transportation cost/service-based optimization activities for Nestle as they pertain to the selection and management of provider capacity.
A day in the life of a Load and Capacity Specialist:
- Execute transport strategies that optimize cost and service while ensuring timely carrier allocation for all planned loads.
- Proactively identify, resolve, or escalate carrier coverage gaps to maintain optimal service, cost efficiency, and carrier performance.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for carrier-related queries, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
- Drive high First Pass Acceptance rates through effective planning, carrier engagement, and operational execution.
- Ensure complete and compliant export documentation while meeting all regulatory requirements, including the coordination of inspection appointments.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication, collaboration, and service excellence.
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous cost-saving initiatives without compromising service, compliance, or operational performance.
- Support, backup roles as requested by Line Manager
What Will Make You Successful
- Degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport Management
- 1-2 years’ experience in any of Logistics, Customer Service, Distribution, Demand and Supply Chain especially in Physical Logistics within FMCG or Manufacturing.
- Experience in Transportation Management, Distribution/ Materials Handling
- Proactive Cooperation and Stakeholder Management
- Excellent communication and Team playing skills as well as Results Focus and Compliance mindset.
