Job description

A prominent private school is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Computer Science teacher to join our faculty in South Africa. This locum position is vacant immediately, and we are looking for a passionate professional to inspire our senior high school students.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a holistic educator who balances academic excellence with a genuine enthusiasm for student development.

1. Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 3 years teaching Chemistry to senior high school students.
Curriculum: Preference for candidates with working knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE & AS Level).
Education: Appropriate academic/professional qualification from a recognized institution (preferably NQF Level 7).
Professionalism: Current SACE registration is required.

2. Core Skills & Duties

Maintain high standards of classroom practice and collaborative teamwork.
Foster student competence, performance, and a love for learning.
Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy and strong communication skills.
Willingness to support school functions and participate in extra-curricular sports or clubs.
Full commitment to the ethos and values of the School.
