URGENTLY HIRING: Logistics Assistant 🚨
📍 Location: Midrand, Gauteng
📄 Contract: 6 Months
💰 Salary: R10,000 per month
⏰ Available Immediately
Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Logistics Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the logistics function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or customer service who is ready to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Assist with daily route planning and delivery scheduling
✅ Coordinate delivery schedules to maximise efficiency
✅ Monitor delivery progress and provide updates where required
✅ Resolve basic logistics issues and escalate complex matters
✅ Prepare and maintain accurate delivery documentation
✅ Contact customers to confirm delivery dates and times
✅ Communicate delivery delays, changes, and queries professionally
✅ Respond to customer enquiries relating to deliveries and logistics
✅ Maintain accurate records and organised administrative systems
Minimum Requirements:
✔ Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
✔ Minimum 1 year's experience in a warehouse, logistics, transport, or customer service environment
✔ Previous customer service and administrative experience will be advantageous
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
✔ Ability to learn and work on logistics, dispatch, or ERP systems
✔ Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
✔ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
✔ Must be available to start immediatel
