Job description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the receiving, dispatch, distribution and stock management functions, while ensuring that all logistics administration, system updates, reporting and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong administrative skills and understands the importance of stock accuracy, service delivery and meeting operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Dispatch
- Receive, inspect and record incoming stock and shipments.
- Capture units and accessories accurately on the relevant systems and documentation.
- Process stock transfers and update unit statuses on ERP systems.
- Prepare purchase orders, delivery notes and waybills.
- Pack and prepare goods for dispatch.
- Ensure stock is allocated to the correct warehouse/bin location.
- Prepare and maintain daily incoming and dispatch reports.
- Follow up on deliveries and obtain signed proof of delivery documentation.
- Distribute completed and signed paperwork to the relevant departments.
- Resolve queries relating to deliveries, replacements and stock movements.
- Provide general support to the Logistics function as required.
Distribution & Pick and Pack
- Prepare outgoing stock for distribution.
- Ensure stock is correctly packed and ready for courier collection.
- Complete and sign relevant courier documentation.
- Track deliveries and follow up on outstanding delivery notes.
- Assist with distribution queries and reconciliations.
Stock & System Administration
- Allocate units to the correct system locations.
- Update stock and unit statuses as items move through the logistics process.
- Process stock transfers on the relevant ERP system.
- Capture returns and repairs to maintain stock accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with stock tracking, reconciliations, reporting, filing and scanning.
- Ensure all stock-related processes are followed and service level agreements are met.
Quality Control & Repairs
- Configure and set up devices according to specified requirements.
- Clean and repair devices and accessories returned by customers.
- Conduct quality checks on repaired devices and stock.
- Record repair and testing outcomes accurately on Excel and relevant systems.
- Update hardware and software fault reports.
Service Level & Operational Support
- Meet weekly operational targets.
- Ensure faulty returns are processed within agreed service levels.
- Liaise with technicians regarding the return of faulty stock.
- Participate in monthly stock counts.
- Provide support to the Distribution team when required.
- Assist with resolving stock and logistics-related issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- A Diploma or Degree in Logistics-related qualification will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in distribution, logistics or warehouse administration.
- Strong IT and systems knowledge.
- Experience working with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience with stock administration, reporting and reconciliations.

You should be comfortable working with systems, handling documentation, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that all stock movements are accurately recorded.
