Tertiary Qualification(s)

Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering an advantage.

Additional Computer Skills

 Knowledge in WMS - Cargowrite

 Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data management and reporting

o Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a 3PL, warehousing, logistics,

or supply chain planning environment.

o Sound understanding of warehouse operations, planning, scheduling, capacity planning, workload balancing, and resource optimization.

o Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), planning software, and Microsoft Office applications.

o Strong planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and problem-solving skills.

o Ability to analyze operational demands, balance workloads across multiple departments, and maximize resource utilization.

o Proven customer service experience with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations.

o Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage in all levels of management.

o Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while working independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

o Self-motivated, adaptable, customer-focused, and able to work effectively within a diverse team.

o Strong understanding of and commitment to company policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs).

o Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays when required by operational demands.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This role will be responsible to plan, coordinate, and optimize warehouse and transport activities to ensure customer

orders are executed efficiently, operational risks are effectively managed, and contractual service levels are

consistently achieved.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Understand the customer’s business

 Understand the customer’s customer requirements

 Develop a strong, trusting relationship with clients

 Deep understanding of contractual SLAs & KPIs

 Adherence to HSE compliance and responsibilities

 Adherence to tasks not stipulated in job profile i.e. audit compliance, adhoc duties due to operational requirements.

 Query management

 Complete daily system checks to ensure all orders are planned and executed as per customer KPI’s

Logistics Coordinator:

 Monitor planning tools and daily execution to identify operational risks, capacity constraints, and deviations,

ensuring timely communication and corrective action.

 Review and analyse planning performance to improve warehouse and transport SLAs, operational efficiency, and resource utilisation.

 Monitor, measure, and report on warehouse KPIs, SLA performance, and on-time delivery.

 Coordinate accurate booking, re-booking, order consolidation, and reverse logistics activities.

 Analyse operational data and collaborate with Warehouse, Transport, and Customer Service teams to improve planning accuracy, load planning, transport utilisation, and overall operational performance.

 Manage customer queries, operational exceptions, and escalations to ensure timely resolution.

 Build and maintain effective working relationships with Warehouse Operations, Transport, Customer Service, and customers to support collaborative planning.

 Support continuous improvement initiatives through process reviews, implementation of operational changes, and the development or revision of SOPs, work instructions, and process flow charts.

 Participate in cross-training and job rotation to improve operational flexibility and business continuity.

 Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, health and safety standards, and operational procedures
