Logistics Specialist

Job Purpose

To provide efficient and cost-effective logistics coordination and execution by managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of equipment, parts, and materials while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following functions:

• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including imports and exports
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transporters to ensure smooth delivery processes
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays or disruptions
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, documentation, and import/export requirements
• Manage inventory movement between warehouses and project sites
• Track and optimize transportation costs and logistics efficiency
• Maintain accurate logistics records, reports, and documentation
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to align supply chain activities
• Oversee delivery performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Relevant
• 3–5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain environment (preferably in industrial/heavy equipment sector)
• Basic knowledge of earthmoving/yellow machinery industry.
