Scope of the Role: Perform, with minimal supervision, highly complex activities related to the planning of logistics and the distribution of products, ensuring the implementation of best practices. Responsible for managing and optimizing all logistics activities, with a primary focus on customs clearance, import/export operations, inbound & outbound material flow, and team development. The role ensures full compliance with customs regulations, timely movement of goods, accurate documentation, and a continuously improving logistics workforce.

Where You’ll Make a Difference Customs & Clearance Management (Primary Focus):

  • Lead and oversee all import and export customs processes to ensure smooth and timely clearance.
  • Prepare, verify, and approve all necessary customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, HS codes, etc.).
  • Coordinate closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, port authorities, and regulatory agencies to resolve clearance issues.
  • Monitor tariffs, duties, VAT, exemptions, and regulatory changes to ensure full compliance and cost optimization.
  • Ensure accurate classification of goods and proper application of INCOTERMS, duty structures, and customs policies.
  • Track all shipments from port of origin to final delivery and proactively resolve any potential delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain updated records of all customs transactions and audits for internal and external requirements.

Inbound & Outbound Logistics Management:

  • Manage inbound flow of materials, spare parts, and equipment— ensuring proper receiving, inspection, and documentation.
  • Coordinate arrival schedules with suppliers, transportation companies, and warehouse teams (Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods to customers or distributors)
  • Oversee outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, loading, and documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate with carriers to optimize transportation costs, routes, and delivery performance.

What Makes You the Right Fit What Makes You the Right Fit?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in logistics operations with strong customs and clearance experience.
  • Solid knowledge of export/import laws, HS codes, customs systems, and INCOTERMS.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Developed and enforced SOPs covering customs, inbound, outbound, and logistics operations.
  • Driven process improvement initiatives
  • Has experience in ensuring full compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and government regulations.
  • Very good command of English (written and verbal. Fluent proficiency
