Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

Cosmetic Connection is seeking a capable and organised Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, stock control, and staff productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse management experience, leadership ability, and a commitment to operational excellence and safety compliance.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

· Matric / Grade 12 required

· Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management (advantageous)

· 15+ years’ experience in warehouse or distribution operations

· Minimum 10 years’ experience in a management role

Job Purpose / Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management of warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock control, safe handling of goods, and timely receiving and dispatch of products. This role plays a critical part in supporting retail stores and online operations by maintaining inventory integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations & Stock Control:

· Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

· Ensure accurate stock levels, stock rotation, and inventory integrity

· Minimise stock variances, damages, and losses through effective controls

· Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and system updates

People Management & Productivity:

· Supervise and manage warehouse staff performance and productivity

· Allocate tasks and manage workflow to meet operational deadlines

· Support staff training on warehouse procedures and safety standards

· Address attendance, conduct, and performance issues in line with company policies

Health, Safety & Security Compliance:

· Enforce health, safety, and security procedures within the warehouse

· Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of goods

· Conduct regular inspections and address hazards or non-compliance

· Support audits and compliance requirements

Coordination & Operational Support:

· Coordinate with Logistics, Despatch, and Retail teams to meet delivery timelines

· Monitor turnaround times for receiving and dispatch

· Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements

· Prepare and submit warehouse performance reports

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

· Stock accuracy and variance levels

· Shrinkage, damage, and loss rates

· On-time receiving and dispatch performance

· Warehouse productivity and turnaround times

· Health, safety, and compliance audit results
