Loss Prevention Supervisor at Security Company

Benncorp WC is a professional rapid response and security guarding company providing reliable rapid response, alarm response and security guarding solutions to our clients. As part of our Operational team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our response operations run efficiently, professionally and to the highest standard.

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Operations Supervisor who can effectively manage our response officers, oversee daily operations and maintain strong relationships with our clients. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily duties and schedules of our Rapid Response Officers.
• Ensure that response/guarding officers are performing their duties effectively and according to company procedures.
• Monitor response operations and ensure that clients receive a professional and reliable service.
• Conduct regular site and operational inspections.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards, security procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Respond to and assist with operational incidents when required.
• Report operational issues, incidents and areas of concern to management.
• Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients.
• Address staff-related concerns and ensure that disciplinary and operational matters are reported to management.
• Conduct regular training and toolbox talks with response officers on relevant security and operational topics.
• Assist management with improving operational procedures and maintaining high service standards.
• Ensure that company vehicles, equipment and operational resources are properly maintained and used responsibly.

Key Requirements

• PSIRA Grade B registration – Non-negotiable.
• Previous security supervisory or operational experience of approximately 1 year or more will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in armed/rapid response operations will be highly advantageous.
• A valid Driver’s Licence – Non-negotiable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and staff management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Must be reliable, responsible and willing to work flexible hours when operationally required.

Remuneration

Commission on any sales made

Salary: Dependent on experience
