M&A Acquisition Specialist - Remote (US Business Acquisitions)

Base pay + $15 per financial package + $5,000 PER CLOSED ACQUISITION (uncapped)

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm US Eastern Time (4:00pm-12:00am or 5:00pm-1:00am South Africa time depending on US daylight saving). 8 hours/day. 100% remote. Paid in USD. Only apply if you can reliably work these evening hours.

ABOUT THE ROLE

SillettiX acquires profitable US small and lower-middle-market businesses, especially home-service companies (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and other established businesses with retiring owners. We are looking for an experienced M&A professional who can do it ALL: source deals, get owners on the phone, sell them on a conversation, secure NDAs, collect financials, and review the numbers.

This is not a salary-and-coast job. We want someone MONEY-MOTIVATED who loves to grind. This role is commission-driven, and the real money is the $5,000 bonus on every acquisition that closes from an opportunity you sourced or worked. No cap. If you know M&A and you perform, the sky is the limit. The people who perform here will crush it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Call inbound US business owners (leads provided through our paid marketing) who have expressed interest in selling
• Run qualification calls: uncover the seller's motivation, timeline, price expectations, reason for selling and desired deal structure
• Gather core business info: revenue, profit, employees, owner involvement, customer concentration, asking price
• Run discovery calls and be the seller's main point of contact early in the process
• Send and manage NDAs
• Request and chase P&Ls, tax returns, balance sheets and YTD financials until you get them
• Do an initial financial review: EBITDA/SDE, add-backs, margins, trends, red flags
• Keep every opportunity updated in our CRM with disciplined follow-up
• SOURCE YOUR OWN DEALS: LinkedIn, email, brokers, business databases, cold calling and direct outreach. You don't just wait for inbound leads.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Real M&A experience: business brokerage, investment banking, private equity, search fund, corporate development, business acquisitions or closely related
• Working knowledge of EBITDA, SDE, add-backs, cash flow, valuation and seller financing
• Able to read P&Ls, balance sheets and tax returns well enough to judge whether a deal is worth deeper diligence
• Understand the lower-middle-market process: outreach, NDA, financials, LOI, diligence, close
• STRONG SPOKEN ENGLISH. You will talk to US business owners all day and must lead calls without reading a script.
• Comfortable cold calling owners who have never heard of us
• Self-starter who manages their own day. Nobody will hand you a call list every morning.
• CRM experience and strong organization across 50-100 active opportunities
• Reliable internet, quiet workspace, headset

COMPENSATION

• Base: $320 USD per month
• $15 USD for every verified financial package you collect
• $5,000 USD for every closed acquisition - UNCAPPED
