SUMMARY: We are recruiting a Maintenance Foreman to lead a team of artisans and ensure the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of production equipment within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO: Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team. Ensure maximum equipment uptime by planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance. Lead mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance activities. Respond to production breakdowns and drive rapid fault finding and resolution. Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Allocate work, manage priorities and ensure completion of maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with TPM, preventive maintenance plans and legal inspections. Manage maintenance spares, tools and contractor activities. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, ISO, IATF 16949 and company standards. Coach, mentor and develop artisans, apprentices and maintenance staff. Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis and KPI reporting. Support installation, commissioning and upgrading of production equipment. Minimum Requirements Trade Test (Millwright, Electrician or Fitter). N6 or National Diploma in Engineering (advantageous). 5 to 8 years maintenance experience within an automotive manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years supervisory or foreman experience. Strong knowledge of PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Knowledge of TPM, Preventive Maintenance and Continuous Improvement. Experience working with robotic and automated production equipment. Computer literate (MS Office and CMMS systems). Valid drivers licence.
