Race Coast is seeking aMaintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for leading, supervising and executing all maintenance operations and activities within the Buildings c Facilities Department. The role is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks, repairs, and projects are completed efficiently, safely, on time, and in accordance with operational and compliance standards.

What You'll Do

Supervision s Leadership

· Lead and supervise maintenance staff and contractors.

· Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality control of all maintenance work.

· Conduct daily toolbox talks and weekly planning sessions

Maintenance Planning s Execution

· Develop preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.

· Oversee urgent and routine repairs for electrical, plumbing, structural, and mechanical systems.

· Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.

Resource s Inventory Management

· Monitor stock levels of tools, materials, and supplies.

· Submit requisitions for procurement and ensure proper inventory control.

· Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment.

Recordkeeping s Reporting

· Maintain accurate maintenance logs, job cards, and inspection reports.

· Compile and submit monthly maintenance reports to Facilities Manager.

· Track KPIs such as response time, downtime, and maintenance costs.

Vendor s Contractor Coordination

· Liaise with service providers for specialized work (e.g., HVAC, fire safety).

· Ensure work meets contractual and company standards.

· Monitor performance and provide feedback to management

What You’ll Need

· Matric or Equivalent

· NQF Certificate (Electrician, Plumber, etc.) or equivalent technical diploma

· At least 5–7 years in a maintenance role

· Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory/management role

· Experience in managing maintenance in a commercial or public facility
