Maintenance Technician

We are urgently looking for a competent Maintenance Technician to join our Evergreen Lifestyle Village team in Sitari , South Africa’s most secure luxury lifestyle estate.

MINIMUM CRITERIA

· Grade 12

· Minimum of 5 years operational experience in the construction, Maintenance or Facilities Management Industry.

· N2 Trade Test qualification – preferable.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

· Perform preventative and reactive maintenance in resident units, common areas including but not limited to skilled carpentry, plumbing, generator and mechanical equipment, electrical, painting, dry walling, plastering, roofing, brick laying, paving, locks and keys, ironmongery, aluminium doors and windows, air-conditioning, HVAC, refrigeration, furniture, cabinet making, house hold appliances, audio visual equipment and networks, garage doors, welding and security systems.

· Inspection of all facilities, utilities, fire equipment, plant and mechanical equipment, fill in check lists and reports according to SOP’s.

· Assist in developing SOP’s and the general improvement of the company protocols for the maintenance division.

· To supervise sub-contractors and inspect work and make sure it is carried out to company’s quality and standards.

· Handle and operate general power tools, ladders, generators and hand tools.
