Role Overview

Looking for a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Primary mission will be to ensure the maximum uptime of our production facility by performing high-level repairs, preventive maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting across a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. Looking a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems to prevent unplanned downtime.
Emergency Repairs: Rapidly diagnose and repair equipment failures under pressure to restore production flow.
Electrical Troubleshooting: Inspect and repair electrical components, including 3-phase motors, sensors, relays, and basic PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) issues.
Mechanical Overhaul: Rebuild pumps, replace bearings, align shafts, and tension belts/chains.
Facility Upkeep: Maintain plant utility systems including air compressors, boilers, and HVAC units.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all LOTO (Lockout/Tag out) procedures, OSHA regulations, and internal safety protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in industrial maintenance (manufacturing, food processing, or heavy industry preferred).
Qualification: Trade tested (Millwright/Electrical/Mechanical)
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret blue-prints, schematics (mechanical and electrical), and technical manuals.
Tool Proficiency: Expert use of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments (callipers/micrometres), and diagnostic equipment (mustimeters).
Fabrication: Basic welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) and machining skills are a significant plus.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 25 kg, climb ladders, and work in varied environments (heat, cold, tight spaces).
