Location: Somerset West - Lourensford Wine Estate

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The

successful candidate will be responsible for general housekeeping duties, as well as

carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs across the premises.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, basic plumbing, electrical work,

painting, general repairs and preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will

also be required to assist with driving and collection/delivery duties as needed.

Requirements

Valid Code 8 driver’s license
Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker, Handyman, or in a similar role
Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
Good general problem-solving and practical skills
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Ability to work independently and with the maintenance team to manage daily tasks efficiently
Willingness to assist with driving and other general duties when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R6 500,00 - R8 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Somerset West, Western Cape 7130: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Facilities maintenance: 2 years (Required)

Language:

Afrikaans & English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Code 8 Drivers License (Required)

Work Location: In person
