Afrimart is a leading global sourcing and B2B cross-border e-commerce platform based in South Africa, connecting businesses to international markets and suppliers.
Since 2016, the company has supported organizations across diverse industries with efficient trade and product sourcing solutions.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a male Afrikaans Speaking Online Sales Consultant.
The Technical Sales Representative will demonstrate strong technical / machinery understanding and computer literacy, proven sales ability, and the capacity to build and manage long-term customer relationships. Prior exposure to servicing customers and maintaining business relationships will be highly advantageous..
Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, providing product information, guiding clients through the online purchasing process, and following up on leads to close sales.
The role also involves building long-term customer relationships, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a positive buyer experience.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in technical sales, machinery sales, or a related field including fluent Afrikaans and good English, with the ability to engage professionally across online channels.
Proven ability to service customers and maintain long-term relationships
Strong computer literacy and confidence using online systems
Fast Learn Technical knowledge, particularly in machinery or industrial products
Qualification in Sales or
Alternatively, a strong technical background with demonstrable sales capability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
Saturdays (Two Shifts):
08:30 – 13:00 or
09:30 – 14:00
