About the Role

Preemus Supplies is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and well-presented Male Public Area Attendant to join our casual hospitality team at one of our hotel clients in Randburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the hotel's public areas and ensuring that guests experience a clean and welcoming environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all assigned public areas of the hotel.
• Ensure entrances, lobbies, corridors, public restrooms, stairways, and other designated areas are clean and presentable.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitise surfaces as required.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms to a high hygiene standard.
• Empty and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies when required.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and chemicals are used correctly and safely.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the Supervisor.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning requirements.
• Maintain a professional and neat appearance at all times.
• Follow all hotel health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Minimum Requirements

• Male candidate required for this position.
• Previous experience as a Public Area Attendant, Cleaner, Houseman, or in hotel housekeeping will be an advantage.
• Previous hotel or lodge experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and trustworthy.
• Must have a professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work according to hotel standards.
• Must be available to start immediately.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
