Management Accountant

• The provision of a sound financial management service to the operation to enable effective financial planning and cost control measures,

• Facilitating and coordinating the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts

• Conducting month-end closing and variance analysis for the Plant.

• Managing and controlling plant costs within budgetary expectations.

• Providing support to the Departmental Managers in the implementation of business processes relating to administrative and cost control.

• Producing monthly management and functional reports.

• Continuous improvement of business and reporting processes

• Grade 12 or Amended Senior Certificate or National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or Technical Matric – N3 (4 technical subjects + 2 official languages)

• B.Comm Accounting/Financial Accounting or CIMA

• Five years’ experience in Corporate Financial environment within the mining/manufacturing industry

• Good understanding and experience in working with accounting procedures relating to cost reporting and budget procedures

• Very proficient in using SAP (FICO), SD & MM and advanced level of MS Excel

• Strong accounting and analytical skills.

• Attentive to detail and proactive in anticipating problems and resolving queries

• Exceptional planning and organizing skills.

• Motivated and possess high level of professionalism

• Valid Driver’s License
