Introduction The Clicks Group are on the hunt for an exceptional Management Accountant to provide financial information and administrative support to the Unicare & Kwamathi business units.

Job description

Job Objectives

To ensure that all reporting is accurate and timely, including weekly scorecard and monthly management reporting
To investigate business challenges and issues and determine the most effective resolution.
To assist with month end procedures, and processing of journal entries where required
General ledger account analysis for both balance sheet and income statement accounts
To ensure adherence to budgets
To facilitate a smooth procurement process and manage vendor payments
To perform cost analysis to enable influence on cost drivers.
To support a streamlined/effective approval process of costs (opex and capex).
To ensure the management and maintenance of effective vendor relationships and the procurement process (applications, internal registrations, AP queries).
Assist with budgeting preparation
Assist with the Capex process
To support an effective document maintenance or retrieval system for internal and external auditors.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications

BCom Accounting/ Financial Management or similar

Job Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in finance / management accounting
Experience working in the Retail industry (Desirable)
SAP exposure advantageous

Job Knowledge:

SAP Finance
Understanding of accounting systems;
Performing reconciliations
Accounting standards and principles
