Management Accountant

Key Result Areas:

• Run the full management accounts function
• Management Accountant that can also do cashbook to TB, VAT returns, PAYE returns, product costing, financial analysis etc.
• Management accounts, flash results, cash flow, budgets and forecasts
• Payroll (weekly management)
• Reporting and analysis
• Supervise, mentor and manage the Bookkeeper
• Ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to
• Maintain corporate governance
• Perform GL control account reconciliations
• Assist the Group Finance Executive with Corporate duties
• Liaise with SARS, IDC, Suppliers and Finance Teams across the Group
• Supplier payment approvals
• Ad-hoc assignments and projects

Minimum Skills/Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant Accounting Diploma (BCom & Articles).
• 4 -5 years’ experience in managing full set of accounts in a production environment
• Attention to detail
• Diligent
• Works well under pressure
• Multi-tasking
• Integrity and trustworthiness
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Team player
• Self-starter
• Work independently
