Club Manager
Location: Parow, Cape Town
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, and experienced Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of our club. The successful candidate will ensure excellent customer service, maintain high operational standards, manage staff effectively, and drive the overall success and profitability of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the club.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate all staff members.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing at all times.
- Monitor staff performance and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints professionally.
- Manage stock, inventory, and supplier orders.
- Monitor cash handling, daily sales, and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the venue.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
- Monitor security procedures and handle incidents professionally.
- Work closely with DJs, entertainers, and event coordinators to ensure successful events.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Promote special events and assist with marketing initiatives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor maintenance issues and arrange repairs when necessary.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Lead by example and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hospitality, nightlife, restaurant, or club management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valid driver's licence will be an advantage.
