We’re Hiring: Manager: Warehousing and Refurbishment
Merchants Operations Division | Field Services
Locations: (KwaZulu Natal, Free State, Lesotho)
Purpose of the Role
To lead and enhance the Warehousing and Refurbishment of equipment and devices ensuring availability of accurate finished and installation ready equipment, devices, products, and stock that is quality assured.
To refurbish equipment and devices, establish secure storage inventory integrity, timely order fulfilment, enabling reliable device availability in a manner that supports customer experience and revenue growth through efficient and controlled distribution.

Key Responsibilities
Warehousing & Inventory Management
- Implement effective receiving and warehousing processes
- Ensure quality assurance checks of all equipment and devices
- Ensure accurate recording and system capture of inventory
- Align inventory receipt with demand forecasts
- Improve turnaround times and throughput
Refurbishment & Quality Assurance
- Apply refurbishment processes and standards
- Guarantee adherence with inspection, testing, and assessment policies
- Manage repair, replacement, and restoration of devices
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
Storage, Control & Asset Protection
- Implement safe and secure storage practices
- Establish accurate real-time inventory tracking and audits
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and internal policies
- Manage risk controls to prevent loss, theft or damage
Dispatch & Fulfilment
- Validate efficient picking, packing and dispatch processes
- Coordinate dispatch activities based on SLA requirements
- Monitor performance, accuracy and turnaround times

- Ensure operations support SLA requirements and installation timelines
- Implement SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with regulations and audit requirements
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate inventory availability and risks

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or Business Administration
Minimum job-related experience:
- 5 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Leadership experience in fast-paced environments (banking, fintech, financial services advantageous)
- Experience managing high-value, high-volume inventory environments
- Proven track record in inventory control, warehouse optimization, and dispatch operations
Certifications
- Certified Supply Chain Professional
