Role Description The Manager Talent Management will lead the design and execution of talent management strategies to support client organizations and internal initiatives. This full-time, on-site role is based in Sandton and involves overseeing performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement programs. The Manager will collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify key talent, develop growth pathways, and implement initiatives that strengthen employee relations. Daily responsibilities include conducting talent reviews, providing advisory support on HR management practices, analyzing workforce data, and preparing reports and recommendations. The role also involves facilitating workshops or training sessions, ensuring consistent application of talent policies, and supporting continuous improvement of talent processes.
Qualifications
- Strong HR Management and Employee Relations skills to oversee policies, resolve issues, and advise leaders on people practices.
- Experience in Performance Management and Employee Engagement to design frameworks, run cycles, and improve workplace culture.
- Proficiency in Succession Planning to identify critical roles, assess potential, and create development plans for key talent.
- Proven ability to analyze HR data, generate insights, and present clear recommendations to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in a talent management or HR leadership role, preferably within professional services or agency environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
