We manufacture and export premium Bedouin stretch tents and luxury glamping structures from our Cape Town factory to clients across Africa, Europe, and beyond. Our products are custom-built to order and proudly produced in South Africa by a talented and dedicated team.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and hands on factory workers to join our production team.

This is a practical, physical role involving the manufacture, finishing, folding, packing and preparation of large stretch tents. The successful candidates will work as part of a team while also being expected to take ownership of their work, maintain high standards and follow production instructions accurately.

We are looking for people who take pride in their work, have a positive attitude and understand the importance of quality, accuracy, teamwork and getting the job done properly.

What you will be doing / key responsibilities:

• Operate production and manufacturing machinery safely and correctly.
• Follow work instructions, production procedures and job cards accurately.
• Measure, cut, assemble, finish and prepare materials according to specifications.
• Inspect work carefully to ensure that products meet our quality standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products.
• Keep the factory, work areas, machinery and equipment clean and organised.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Work closely and respectfully with other members of the production team.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
• Identify and report defects, discrepancies or problems.
• Ask questions when something does not look or feel right rather than making assumptions.
• Take care of company equipment, tools, machinery and materials.
• Follow all company health, safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Perform other reasonable production and factory related duties as required.

• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, folding and packing for extended periods.
• Practical, hands-on and willing to get involved in all aspects of production.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record.

• A good communicator who is comfortable asking questions and raising concerns.
• Positive, respectful, well-mannered and professional in their conduct.
• Honest, responsible and willing to take ownership of their work.
• Able to remain focused and productive during repetitive or physically demanding tasks.
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent. (Technical qualification highly advantageous)
• Previous factory, manufacturing, sewing, production, tent-making, upholstery, canvas or similar hands-on experience. (Minimum 2 years)
• Experience operating machinery would be advantageous.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
• A great team player.
• Action-oriented and adaptable.
• Physically capable of handling large and heavy products.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.
• Valid Driver’s license advantageous.
