Job description
Key Outputs
- Testing and commissioning Marine engines and generators
- Testing and commissioning of marine power equipment, control panels and remote monitoring systems.
- Compiling system operation manuals and maintaining records of completed commissioning activities.
- Provide operational training to customers.
- Provide design assistance as and when required.
- Provide testing assistance as and when required.
- Provide maintenance assistance to service department as and when required
- Fault finding on electrical systems
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Trade test electrician or auto electrician
- Commissioning experience on power generation equipment.
- At least 5 years' experience with Marine commissioning of generators and engines.
- Programming of controllers such as Deepsea, Deif, Automaskin etc
- Computer literacy
- Problem solving
- Analytical ability
- Verbal and written communication
- Effective communication
- Methodical attention to detail, accuracy.
- Safety Awareness
