Marketing Assistant - Music Industry

Position Overview:

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing the company’s sales and promotional campaigns across all service providers, including audio streaming, social media, PR, and telecom platforms. He/she works in coordination with the operations and marketing team to maximize the revenues and promote our content creatively.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Marketing: - Support in planning and executing web, SEO/SEM, social media, telco, PR, radio/tv and display advertising campaigns. Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to contribute to innovative marketing strategies, assist in setting specific campaign objectives and provide reports on ROI.
• Telco Platforms Management: - Assist in managing and executing marketing campaigns on telecom platforms, ensuring content visibility and engagement across mobile networks. Support the development of promotional strategies with telecom partners, including bundling services, offering exclusive content, and leveraging SMS, USSD, and mobile app platforms. Track the performance of telecom-related campaigns, ensuring they align with business objectives and reach the targeted audience effectively.
• Social Media Management: - Assist in managing company social media channels, maintaining a posting calendar, and performing market research on trending content and strategies. Provide support on TikTok/social media campaigns and challenges, tracking of deliverables
• Performance Tracking: - Tracking and reporting on analysis associated with releases to ensure alignment with business expectations
• Develop an audience targeting strategy - Support in developing audience targeting strategies by the campaign, including knowledge of lookalike audiences, retargeting, and experimentation to refine audience targeting by interests and demographics.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant degree or certification and equivalent 2+ years of practical experience.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong presentation skills and ability to track and process data
• Ability to multitask and operate with energy and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Be able to adapt to a constantly evolving and collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of the relevant social media platforms and promotional tools.

Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
