ABOUT LYDIAM GROUP
Lydiam Group is a regulated treasury-services firm working across the United Kingdom, UAE, Poland, Canada and the United States. We provide FX in more than 140 currencies, crypto on- and off-ramps, cross-asset swaps, hedging, OTC and payments for institutional, corporate and private clients.
THE ROLE
We are hiring one person to own marketing and brand for the Lydiam Group. The job has two aims: make our target markets around the world know who Lydiam is, and turn that awareness into new business, with a measurable pipeline of calls, form fills and emails into the firm. You will also keep existing clients engaged through regular market updates and client communications.
You will be the whole marketing function: strategy and growth on one side, brand and creative production on the other. You will present a plan with quarterly targets, report weekly against it, and be accountable for cost per lead and conversion. Heavy use of AI tools for writing, design and automation is how one person covers this remit, and it is an explicit expectation of the role. Anything client-facing goes through compliance sign-off, so you will learn to write for a regulated financial audience.
GROWTH — AWARENESS & NEW BUSINESS
- Strategy. Build and present the group marketing plan with quarterly targets for awareness, leads, calls, conversions and retention, plus channel mix and budget; report weekly against it.
- Social media. Own the group's platforms end to end: content calendar, posting, engagement and audience growth across LinkedIn, Meta, Instagram, TikTok and X, with YouTube as the audience builds.
- Lead generation. Plan and run organic and paid campaigns across those platforms plus Google Ads, designed to make prospects contact Lydiam; own cost per lead.
- Brand awareness. Grow global recognition of Lydiam through consistent presence, thought-leadership content and share of voice in our markets.
- Email marketing. Build lists, nurture sequences and campaigns (Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or similar); own deliverability and open, click and conversion rates.
- Lead capture and CRM. Landing pages, calls-to-action and tracking; keep the CRM clean so every enquiry is logged, followed up and attributable to a channel.
- Client retention. Produce daily client and market updates, newsletters and service communications that keep existing clients engaged.
- Content and copy. Market commentary, campaign copy, case studies and testimonials, written to a standard fit for a regulated financial audience.
BRAND & CREATIVE — WHAT YOU WILL PRODUCE
- Brand governance. Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across every company in the group, digital and print.
- Creative production. Produce day-to-day social graphics, ads, banners and short-form video yourself (Canva, CapCut and AI design tools); brief freelancers for bigger jobs.
- Documents and decks. Brochures, proposals, pitch decks, PDF reports and internal templates, plus client-update and market-update templates.
- Presentations. High-quality decks for leadership, clients and pitches.
- Design systems and Figma. Keep branding aligned across our internal and external systems: the client portal, admin Command Centre, website and document templates. Maintain the Figma files and brand libraries as the source of truth, and work with engineering so what gets built matches the brand.
- Asset management. Organised libraries of logos, templates, imagery and past work.
- Light front-end. Email templates and landing pages; comfortable editing WordPress, Webflow or similar.
WIDER REMIT — EVERYTHING MARKETING TOUCHES
- Working across departments. Work daily with sales, operations, compliance and engineering: hand qualified enquiries to sales, feed client-facing insight back into campaigns, and align content with what the business is doing.
- Website, SEO and reputation. Keep the site converting; run basic SEO and landing-page tests; manage Google reviews and Trustpilot.
- PR, partnerships and events. Press and publication opportunities, introducer and referral programmes, partnership marketing; webinars and events as a phase-two channel.
- Market intelligence. Monitor competitors and market news to feed commentary, campaign angles and positioning.
- Sales enablement. Produce the decks, one-pagers and case studies the sales side needs to convert enquiries.
- Analytics. GA4, ad-platform and email metrics, rolled into a weekly KPI dashboard for leadership: awareness, leads, cost per lead, email performance and retention.
- Compliance. Run the sign-off process for anything client-facing, in line with financial-promotions obligations.
- AI leverage. Use AI writing, design, ad and automation tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Zapier/Make and similar) daily to do the work of a small team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Digital or growth marketing experience in line with the level you apply at, with campaigns you have owned end to end and targets you were accountable for
- Lead-generation outcomes you can evidence with numbers: cost per lead, conversion rates, revenue influenced
- Hands-on with an email platform, a CRM, Meta Ads Manager and GA4; Google Ads experience a plus
- Confident producing your own creative: Canva or similar, AI design tools, and short-form video editing
- Working Figma ability: maintaining brand libraries and simple platform mock-ups (deep UI design can go to freelancers)
- Excellent written English; comfortable producing daily client-facing market commentary
- Self-managing in a remote setup, and comfortable being the whole marketing function
- Daily working use of AI tools for writing, creative and automation
We are hiring across junior, mid and senior levels: scope, expectations and salary will match your experience. At every level we would rather see strong evidence on the growth side with a credible creative baseline than perfection everywhere, and we will support the role with freelancers and, in time, a dedicated designer.
NICE TO HAVE
- Financial services, property or B2B services background; experience marketing under compliance sign-off
- Deeper design-system or UI design experience; stronger video skills; basic HTML/CSS
- Experience managing designers, freelancers or small agencies; webinars, events or PR experience
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
- 30 days: marketing plan presented and agreed; CRM, tracking and reporting baselined; social channels active; first campaigns and client updates live
- 60 days: paid and organic channels running with cost per lead visible; email sequences live; brand templates in daily use; weekly KPI dashboard in front of leadership
- 90 days: a measurable, growing pipeline of enquiries with cost per lead trending down, visible growth in brand reach, and retention communications running without prompting
