Marketing & Client Care Coordinator
About
A well-established professional support provider with over 25 years’ experience supporting organisations nationwide across HR, employment law, governance, compliance, training and management development. The business also provides sector-specific digital and practical resources, with a strong reputation built on trusted advice, technical expertise and client care.
Purpose of the role
This is a newly created role combining digital marketing, business development and client engagement, with a strong focus on growing the company’s visibility, generating opportunities and building long-term client relationships. It suits a commercially minded, proactive individual who is equally comfortable creating content, developing new business and supporting a high standard of client care.
Key responsibilities
A. Client care
· Act as a professional first point of contact across phone and email, handling sensitive or distressed clients calmly, triaging enquiries and ensuring they are logged, routed and followed through.
· Support onboarding and ongoing client relationships through check-ins, renewals and feedback, while identifying risks or commercial opportunities and maintaining strict confidentiality and data protection standards.
B. Social media and digital content
· Plan, create, schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, working closely with the external branding agency to maintain a consistent brand, tone and content calendar.
· Translate technical and sector-specific information into clear, engaging content, including updates, campaigns, events, training and service promotions.
· Manage website updates, e-newsletters, mailing campaigns and social media enquiries, ensuring content remains accurate, relevant and GDPR compliant.
· Monitor and report on digital performance across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, using insights to improve reach, engagement and enquiry generation, while maintaining a strong library of reusable brand assets and content.
C. Marketing and business development
· Contribute to and deliver the annual marketing and business development plan, with agreed activity, budgets and targets.
· Generate, qualify and follow up leads, manage the sales pipeline and prepare quotations, service outlines and proposals.
· Maintain accurate CRM records, including client history, segmentation, opportunities and renewal prompts.
· Identify new business opportunities across existing and adjacent markets, while nurturing current clients to drive repeat, referral and cross-selling opportunities.
· Monitor competitor, market and sector developments to help inform future services and commercial activity.
D. General
· Work collaboratively across the wider team and participate in meetings, reviews and ongoing professional development.
· Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures and legal obligations.
· Undertake other reasonable duties within the scope of the role as required.
Personal Specification
Qualifications
· Third-level qualification in marketing, business, communications, digital media, HR, employment law, early years education or a related discipline.
Experience
· Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant experience across client service, account handling, marketing or a similar professional environment.
· Demonstrable experience managing business social media accounts and creating content for a professional audience.
· Experience acting as a frontline point of contact, managing calls, email and client enquiries.
· Experience within professional services, consultancy, legal, membership or similar organisations.
· Familiarity with the Early Learning and Care, social care or charity sectors, or a willingness to develop this knowledge.
· Experience using and maintaining a CRM or client database.
Skills & Knowledge
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
· Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Working knowledge of GDPR/POPIA in relation to marketing.
· Experience updating website content.
· Knowledge of paid social media and/or search advertising.
