Job Description – Marketing & Content Creator
We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Content Creator to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing content for our social media platforms, website and marketing materials. This role requires someone who can independently plan, create, edit and publish professional and engaging content.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and create content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
- Plan, film and edit short-form videos, Reels and promotional videos.
- Photograph products and edit product images for online use.
- Design promotional banners, advertisements and marketing materials.
- Create engaging and professional social media posts.
- Update and maintain website content and assist with basic web design.
- Develop creative marketing ideas and campaigns to promote products.
- Keep up with current social media trends and identify opportunities for new content.
- Assist with product launches, promotions and other marketing activities.
- Ensure all content accurately represents the company and its products.
- Travel between Imix Sound in Pomona, Kempton Park and A1 Sound, 148 Main Street, Johannesburg as required for photography, filming, product content and marketing activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in marketing, social media, content creation or a related field.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Experience with video and photo editing software.
- Experience creating social media content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
- Graphic design skills and experience creating banners and promotional material.
- Basic website design and content management skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport would be advantageous.
- A portfolio of previous work is required.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is hands-on, creative and able to take an idea from concept through to finished content without needing constant supervision.
Pay: R12 000,00 - R14 000,00 per month
