Job description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans, leading digital and traditional marketing initiatives, managing budgets, overseeing brand governance, and supporting national sales objectives. This role requires a creative and analytical leader with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to translate business strategy into measurable marketing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Prepare annual marketing plans with measurable objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market share growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging industry trends.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen the organisation's competitive position.

Brand Management

  • Ensure consistent application of brand standards across all communication channels.
  • Review and approve marketing collateral and promotional material.
  • Maintain the integrity of the brand across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Oversee creative development and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies.
  • Manage website content and user experience.
  • Oversee social media, email marketing, paid advertising, SEO and online campaigns.
  • Monitor digital performance using analytics and recommend improvements.
  • Drive lead generation and customer engagement initiatives.

Campaign and Project Management

  • Plan, coordinate and manage integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and optimise performance.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Monitor expenditure and maximise return on investment.
  • Produce regular marketing performance reports for executive management.

Events and Promotions

  • Plan and oversee product launches, exhibitions, trade shows, promotional events and client engagements.
  • Coordinate suppliers and service providers to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Evaluate event outcomes and return on investment.

Supplier and Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, suppliers and strategic partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.

Sales Support

  • Partner with sales teams to develop campaigns that generate leads and support revenue growth.
  • Provide marketing tools and resources to support business development initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance against sales objectives.

Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop the marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage team performance and support professional development.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Management will be advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in marketing.
  • At least 5 years in a marketing management role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Strong experience in digital marketing, brand management and campaign execution.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and external agencies.
  • Experience in retail, luxury brands, interiors, homeware, lifestyle or consumer products will be advantageous.
