Job Purpose
You are a word nerd, a skilled and versatile writer, are able to vacillate between ATL and digital seamlessly. You can easily straddle a social media concept and a web banner without breaking a sweat. You will have the stage to write for creative concepts, promotions as well as retail themes, across various media types. Showcase your versatility in a complex business with entertainment, hospitality as well as food and beverage units. Support the creative Studio Manager in creating some breakthrough communication, driving brand building and commercial success.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in any creative discipline or liberal arts.
Multilingual (South African languages)
Minimum Requirements
2-3 Years experience in a creative environment, advertising agency preferred.
A portfolio to showcase your writing skills
Multiple projects management
Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
Experience writing for blogging and social media platforms is advantageous
Main Responsibilites
Produce top shelve creative concepts and scripts with visual aids and references to communicate ideas
Assist in developing headlines, taglines and long form content aligned to objectives
Help develop and edit high quality copy for multiple channels including websites, brochures, emails, social media, presentations, and internal communications.
Work with editing suites to oversee finished product.
Work with voice artists where necessary, assisting with the recording of the ideas.
Involvement in brainstorms and conceptualization sessions
Presentation and storytelling capability
Highly organized and efficient, can meet tight deadlines.
Results oriented with a can-do attitude
Proof reading and getting concepts ready for delivery
High energy with a hunger for knowledge and willingness to learn
Stay up to date with digital trends content best practices and merging platforms.
