Purpose of the role:

The successful candidate will support the Head: Brand and Communication in implementing the marketing strategy and delivering internal and external marketing initiatives. This role requires collaboration across the marketing team, engagement with key stakeholders, and partnership with business units across the Group.

Minimum Requirements

Ideal experience:

• A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing and communications environment.

• Knowledge of marketing principles and methods.

• Proven track record in establishing new networks and collaborative relationships.

• Knowledge of, and experience in, a financial services environment would be advantageous.

Ideal qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary or NQF 6 qualification in Marketing / Public Relations / Communications or related field

Systems knowledge:

• MS Office.

• Experience with CRM platforms would be advantageous, preferably Everlytic or Click Dimensions.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign would be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support for marketing and communications.

• Coordinate the planning and execution of internal and external marketing events.

• Contribute to the planning of company and marketing projects to ensure effective and efficient delivery.

• Coordinate the planning and execution of social media content and campaigns.

• Prepare the layout and production of design briefs for materials in line with corporate brand guidelines.

• Coordinate the production and distribution of company reports, including monthly and quarterly reports, and review all external documents for CI alignment before distribution.

• Build, implement, and distribute email and SMS campaigns through the CRM system, including data management.

• Compile monthly activity reports from the CRM system, Google Analytics, and PPS Group sources.

• Update and maintain marketing collateral, the company intranet, and the external website.

• Manage the inventory and stock control of marketing materials.

• Coordinate the distribution and management of marketing collateral to offices nationwide.
