Marketplace Operations Specialist

DesignRush, a B2B Media Platform that drives brand discovery & growth, is seeking a Marketplace Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our Marketplace.

The candidate must be a proactive and independent thinker who can take ownership of the tasks at hand and ensure timely and high-quality output through collaboration with other team members.

Our platform offers four key values to users:

• Trending Brands: Brands can feature their expert and achievements via news, interviews, and trends articles to get noticed and recognized as an industry leader.
• Agency Rankings: Brands can view qualified agencies based on their expertise, location, clients, and various other factors.
• Awards: Brands can enter their finest work and compete for the best web logo, app, print, packaging, and video design awards.
• Marketplace: Businesses can post their projects at no cost and receive proposals from verified agencies.

We're looking for a Marketplace Specialist whose primary goal is to ensure a seamless experience for businesses and agencies by managing marketplace operations, communications, project coordination, and administrative processes.

This role plays a critical part in keeping projects moving forward, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting the growth and success of the DesignRush Marketplace.

Goals:

• Ensure all marketplace projects are published, managed, and updated accurately and on time.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, clients, and internal stakeholders through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Drive operational efficiency by coordinating tasks, managing communications, and ensuring marketplace processes run smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing marketplace operations, including publishing, updating, and maintaining marketplace projects and records.
• Conducting outreach, building relationships with agencies and clients, and ensuring consistent follow-up and communication.
• Overseeing shared inboxes, coordinating communications, and facilitating collaboration across multiple departments.
• Tracking tasks, monitoring project progress, and ensuring deadlines and commitments are met.
• Providing administrative support, research, data collection, reporting, and marketplace-related operational activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in operations, marketplace coordination, customer success, account management, administration, lead generation, business development, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of marketplace operations, customer communication, stakeholder management, and business processes.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM platforms, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, email platforms, calling systems, project management tools, and data research methodologies.
• Able to work between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. ET.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools, AI agents, and workflows, including practical experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
