Massage Therapist - Freelance / Mobile - Cape Town

At The Visua, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional wellness services with a personal touch. We’re looking for experienced, professional massage therapists who provide attentive care and a comfortable, relaxing client experience.

As a private beauty and wellness concierge, we provide mobile services for women and men at their homes, hotels and private accommodation.

Role Description

As a Massage Therapist, you will:

Provide relaxation, Swedish, deep tissue or other massage styles according to your professional training and expertise.
Consult with clients before each session about their preferences, comfort and treatment suitability.
Adapt pressure and techniques appropriately while working within your training and competence.
Set up a clean, comfortable and professional treatment space.
Maintain client privacy, appropriate draping and professional boundaries throughout each appointment.
Maintain excellent hygiene, including clean equipment and fresh linens.
Communicate clearly with clients and The Visua team.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of professional massage experience.
Relevant professional training and certificates for the massage services you offer.
Strong practical skills and an attentive, professional approach.
Your own portable massage table, fresh linens and suitable massage products.
Reliable transport and the ability to manage your mobile equipment.
Punctuality, professional presentation and respect for client confidentiality.
Willingness to provide professional references and complete our onboarding and vetting process.

What We Offer

Flexible availability - choose the days and hours you are available.
Opportunities to receive additional bookings alongside your existing freelance work.
Client enquiries and booking coordination handled by The Visua.
Service fees agreed in advance for each completed appointment.

This is a freelance, independent contractor opportunity. Bookings depend on client demand and your availability.

Location

Cape Town - mobile appointments at clients’ locations.
