Job description
Our client who manufactures plastics products supplying to household, commercial, and industrial waste management, is seeking a Material Control Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate invoices to Customers from Delivery Plan
- Maintain delivery plan with scheduled delivery dates
- Plan and schedule daily deliveries between customer request and available transport.
- Arrange transport with approved vendors daily
- Follow up on POD’S from Transporters and capture of POD’s in Syspro
- Maintain and Manage the CHEP pallet account
- Perform inter-branch transfer transactions and manage Good in Transit Account
- Follow up on discrepancies between shipping logs and invoice registers
- Capture stock takes for warehouses
- Assist with capturing of orders on Syspro
- Prepare load control documents and arrange picking of stock
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct manager
- Review and compare transporter invoice to agreed rate schedules
- Debrief PODs to check for any discrepancies after deliveries.
Requirements
- Matric
- Any additional logistical qualification will be an advantage
- 2 – 3 years invoicing and logistics experience in FMCG markets
- Must have CHEP Pallet transfer and reconciliation experience
- Syspro experience
