Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist senior mechanics in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and related components.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, filter replacements).
Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Replace and install new parts, components, and accessories.
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure vehicles/equipment meet safety and performance standards.

Requirements

- Relevant trade test certification (e.g., Diesel Mechanic)

- 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics

- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and vehicles

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
