Job description
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Mechanic (Trade Test advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a mechanic
- Strong experience with clutch repairs and replacements
- Sound knowledge of gearboxes (manual and automatic)
- Experience working on diesel engines
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles & Trucks
- Experience with hydraulic systems
- Good fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's licence will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles and equipment.
- Repair and overhaul clutches, gearboxes, and diesel engines.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards.
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
Pay: R1,00 - R2,00 per month
