About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, commercially focused Media Buyer to manage and scale paidadvertising campaigns for a growing Australian solar and battery group.
This is not a junior campaign-management or social-media role. We are looking for someone whounderstands direct-response marketing, lead generation, creative testing, conversion tracking and therelationship between advertising performance and actual sales outcomes.
The successful candidate will take ownership of campaign performance across Meta and other relevantpaid channels, working closely with our internal sales, marketing and operations teams.
Our primary objective is to generate qualified solar and battery enquiries and booked consultations at acommercially sustainable acquisition cost.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, launch, manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns, primarily across Meta Ads.
Manage campaigns across multiple brands, regions, customer segments and offers.
Develop campaign structures for prospecting, retargeting, reactivation and offer testing.
Monitor daily performance and make informed budget, audience, placement and creativedecisions.
Test different hooks, offers, headlines, formats, landing pages and customer personas.
Work with designers, video editors and content creators to develop high-performing advertisingcreative.
Write or contribute to direct-response ad copy, creative briefs and video concepts.
Identify creative fatigue and maintain a consistent creative-testing pipeline.
Track performance beyond cost per lead, including lead quality, appointment bookings,attendance rates, sales and customer acquisition cost.
Work with our CRM and sales teams to identify which campaigns produce the strongestcommercial outcomes.
Ensure Meta Pixel, Conversion API, UTMs and campaign tracking are correctly implemented.
Analyse landing-page and funnel performance and recommend improvements.
Produce clear weekly reporting covering results, insights, testing outcomes and next actions.
Manage campaign budgets responsibly and identify opportunities to scale.
Stay informed about changes to advertising platforms, privacy requirements and performance-marketing practices.
Required Experience
At least three years of hands-on paid-media experience.
Demonstrated experience managing lead-generation or direct-response campaigns.
Strong experience with Meta Ads Manager.
Proven ability to manage meaningful monthly advertising budgets.
Experience generating leads for high-consideration services is strongly preferred.
A strong understanding of campaign structure, attribution, tracking and funnel optimisation.
Experience testing and scaling creative rather than relying solely on audience changes.
Ability to analyse advertising results alongside sales and CRM data.
Strong written and verbal English.
Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Able to overlap with Australian business hours when required.
Pay: R40 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month
