Purpose of the Position:
The Specialist Partnership & Integration is responsible for leading the onboarding, governance, optimisation and performance management of strategic partnerships while coordinating the successful integration of products, platforms, technologies and services across the Advertising Media Sales ecosystem.
The role serves as the primary operational liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, technical requirements and delivery timelines
Key Performance Objectives Tasks
Partnership Governance & Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with strategic technology, data, measurement and commercial partners.
- Establish and maintain partner governance frameworks, including operational reviews, performance scorecards and escalation processes.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify opportunities and resolve operational challenges.
- Monitor partner performance against agreed deliverables and service commitments.
- Conduct operational and implementation assessments for new partnership opportunities and provide recommendations to the Senior Manager: Product & Partnerships.
- Identify opportunities to maximise value from existing partnerships through enhanced utilisation, capability expansion and commercial adoption.
Integration Programme Management
- Coordinate the end-to-end integration lifecycle for new technologies, platforms, products and services.
- Develop and maintain integration plans, project trackers, risk logs and implementation schedules.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment across commercial, technology, operational and partner teams.
- Ensure integration requirements are documented, communicated and delivered against agreed milestones.
- Track integration progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies and blockers.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and launch readiness activities before go-live.
- Define and monitor integration success metrics and post-implementation performance indicators.
Partner Enablement & Operational Readiness
- Ensure partners are operationally integrated into business processes and workflows.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new partners across sales, operations and technology teams.
- Develop and maintain partnership documentation, operating procedures and integration guides.
- Support the creation of training materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives for internal teams.
- Ensure all partner capabilities are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders
Product Launch & Market Readiness Support
- Support the launch of new products, audience solutions and commercial offerings.
- Coordinate partner readiness activities for product launches.
- Ensure all technical, operational and commercial dependencies are addressed before launch.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment between Product, Sales, Ad Operations and Technology teams.
- Track launch performance and support post-launch optimisation initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary coordination point between internal business units and external partners.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder forums to align priorities, timelines and expectations.
- Ensure effective communication across all phases of partner onboarding and integration delivery.
- Escalate risks and issues to the Senior Manager: Product & Partnerships where appropriate.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the digital advertising ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in: Business Management, Marketing, Technology, Project Management or related field.
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
- Professional certifications in Project Management, Agile Delivery or Partner Management advantageous.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience within digital advertising, media, technology, ad tech or partnership management environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and integration programmes.
- Experience working with technology vendors, media partners, data providers or advertising platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems including CTV, Programmatic and Audience Solutions.
- Experience coordinating stakeholders across commercial, operational and technical teams.
- Exposure to Pan-African media or advertising environments advantageous.
- Experience supporting product launches, onboarding initiatives or technology implementations.
