Medical Receptionist

We are a busy, premier specialist medical practice in Stellenbosch seeking a highly professional, organized, and empathetic Medical Receptionist to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Diary & Patient Management: Efficiently manage the specialist's daily diary, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow.
• Theatre Bookings: Oversee and manage all theatre bookings, including coordinating with hospitals, processing authorizations, and preparing patient files.
• Front-of-House & Communication: Act as the first point of contact for the practice; professionally handle all incoming calls, patient queries, and email correspondence.
• Administration: Ensure accurate patient capturing, filing, and general administrative support to keep the practice running smoothly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience specifically as a Medical Receptionist (experience within a specialist practice is highly advantageous).
• Software Proficiency: Essential hands-on experience working with Vericlaim and GoodX medical software. (Candidates without this experience will not be considered).
• Attributes: Strong multi-tasking abilities, high attention to detail, a compassionate patient-first attitude, and a professional appearance.
