Medical Receptionist / Nursing Assistant
Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist / Nursing Assistant to support our Director of Patient Services with clinical and administrative responsibilities.
This is a newly created position and an important addition to our growing team. The successful candidate will help ensure that clinical processes are handled efficiently, patients receive the appropriate support, and the organization remains compliant as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Patient Services with clinical-related needs and administrative tasks
- Coordinate and support patient-related clinical requirements
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating nursing assessments
- Communicate with doctors, patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as required
- Prepare, organize, and send relevant clinical documentation
- Assist with maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Support compliance-related processes and ensure required information is properly documented
- Assist with hospital and incident reporting
- Follow up on outstanding clinical documentation and requirements
- Provide general medical reception and administrative support
- Help ensure smooth communication between the clinical team, patients, and healthcare providers
Requirements
- Nursing qualification or relevant healthcare experience
- Previous experience in a medical, nursing, healthcare, or patient-services environment
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Comfortable communicating with patients, doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Ability to handle confidential patient information professionally
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be someone with a nursing or healthcare background who also enjoys administration, coordination, and working with people. They should be comfortable taking ownership of tasks and assisting the Director of Patient Services with day-to-day clinical requirements.
This is a new position created to support the company's continued growth and improve clinical compliance and processes.
