Job description
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Member Engagement Officer to help create exceptional experiences for our members. In this role, you will drive member engagement through activations, roadshows, and events that increase awareness, enrolment, and utilisation of the AVBOB Member Rewards Programme.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Plan and execute member engagement activations, roadshows, and events nationally.

Drive awareness, enrolment, and utilisation of the Member Rewards programme.

Coordinate activation logistics, travel, venues, promotional material, and merchandise.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Train and support branch teams to confidently promote the Member Rewards programme.

Monitor engagement performance, analyse member feedback, and prepare reports.

Manage activation budgets, suppliers, and project timelines while ensuring excellent execution.

National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Events Management, or Project Administration.

Valid driver's licence.

2–5 years' experience in client engagement, marketing activations, customer experience, events, or a related field.

Experience planning and coordinating events, activations, or roadshows.

Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel extensively nationally.
