Royal Majestic Hotel, a luxury 5-star property in the heart of Rosebank, is looking for an experienced and commercially driven MICE & Corporate Sales Manager to drive new business and revenue across our conference, banqueting, events and accommodation offering.

With one of the largest banqueting and events facilities in the Rosebank area, we have significant opportunity for a sales professional who can turn market potential into confirmed business and revenue.

This is a Sales role.

We are looking for someone with an established network who can open doors, secure new corporate and MICE accounts and consistently deliver revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new corporate, MICE, conference, banqueting and group business.
• Generate new accounts and develop strategic client relationships.
• Increase banqueting revenue and room-night production.
• Prospect, conduct sales calls, presentations and site inspections.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Negotiate and close profitable business.
• Develop relationships with corporates, government, TMCs, PCOs, DMCs and event agencies.
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Represent the hotel at networking events and industry platforms.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' proven hotel sales experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star environment.
• Proven track record in new business development and revenue generation.
• Strong MICE, corporate, conference and banqueting sales experience.
• Established Johannesburg corporate/event network advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• Commercially driven with excellent relationship-building abilities.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
