Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer

About the Role
Forward is looking for a motivated Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You'll build and maintain features across the full stack — Angular UIs, .NET 8 APIs, and SQL Server databases — within our ABP Framework platform. You'll work closely with senior engineers, contribute to code reviews, and grow in a team that takes quality seriously.
We're based at Techno Park, Stellenbosch, and we work hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack features using .NET 8 + ABP Framework and Angular
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Develop and maintain SQL Server database objects, queries, and stored procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, defects, and production issues
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes on GitHub Actions
• Support Azure-hosted application deployments and monitoring
• Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver requirements

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years with .NET 8 / Core; ABP Framework exposure advantageous
• 2+ years building Angular applications (v12+)
• 2+ years with SQL Server — T-SQL, stored procedures, schema design
• Foundational understanding of Azure services and Docker
• Working knowledge of GitHub Actions and PR-based Git workflows
