About the Role
Providence Hotels is looking for a motivated and results-driven SEO Specialist to take full ownership of the SEO performance of our hotel websites.
This is a hands-on role focused on technical SEO, on-page optimisation, strategy development, implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement. We are not looking for a content writer or link-building specialist. Instead, we need someone who can own the complete SEO process from research and planning through to execution and performance analysis.
A major focus of this role will be AI Search Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), ensuring our brands remain visible and competitive across AI-powered search platforms and emerging search experiences.

Key Responsibilities
● Take full ownership of SEO performance across Providence Hotels websites.
● Develop and execute comprehensive 6-month SEO strategies for each hotel property.
● Conduct technical SEO audits and implement recommendations.
● Manage all on-page SEO improvements, including site structure, internal linking, metadata, content optimisation, and user experience enhancements.
● Identify opportunities to improve visibility within AI-powered search and generative search platforms.
● Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping.
● Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and other key SEO performance metrics.
● Produce regular SEO reports and present findings to management.
● Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
● Continuously identify new growth opportunities and SEO improvements.
Essential Requirements
● Minimum 3 years of SEO experience within an agency environment.
● Strong technical SEO knowledge and implementation experience.
● Extensive experience using Screaming Frog or similar website crawling tools.
● Strong experience with Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar keyword research and SEO platforms.
● Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
● Proven ability to create and execute SEO strategies from planning through implementation.
● Hands-on WordPress implementation experience.
● Experience tracking, measuring, and reporting on SEO performance.
● Familiarity with AI tools and their application within SEO workflows.
● Understanding of AI Search, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), and emerging search trends.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Advantageous but not required
● Hospitality, travel, or tourism industry experience is advantageous.
● Experience managing SEO for multi-location or multi-property websites.
● Experience in international SEO

Salary & Benefits
